The complete and ultimate offering for Permanent Residency in Paraguay for global residents, within 90 days

If you are not a citizen of any of the following countries you will need to pick the Global Package (see countries)
An EU country, Australia, Canada, Norway, Switzerland, South Africa, USA, UK, Ukraine, Russia or a South American country

The Global package includes the following:

1. A business/Invitation Visa

(also known as an Invitation Visa), which is a personal invitation Visa to visit Paraguay. This is required, and is the only way for a citizen of a none compliant country to enter Paraguay. This is required before we can start the permanent residency application

2. The Permanent Residency in Paraguay

A personal representative handling your specific application
Prioritized document handling and authority service for customer
Transportations to and from authorities, airport etc
The Bank Payment to National Bank will be taken care of by Strategica and hence not required by customer
The Permanent Residency ID-card (Cedula)
The Tax-ID number when wished for

Step 1 – Process & Requirements

A 1 hour free consultation call will start the process where we go through process and relevant additional information that is required by applicant to get the Paraguayan residency

(Strategica will schedule call with customer upon agreement)

Step 2a – Requirements for Business/Invitation Visa

After consultation call and registration/visa payment have been made, all relevant documents that is required by applicant must be submitted to Strategica. Because the Business/Invitation visa takes between 45-60 days, the sooner the customer brings these documents the swifter it goes

When Strategica have managed the process with authorities and other stakeholders, the customer will be informed by Strategica and personally pick up the visa at a Paraguayan embassy or consulate in their country

Step 2b – Requirements for Permanent Residency Application

During the application process of the Business/Invitation visa, Strategica will work with the customer to ensure that all relevant and required documents that is needed for the permanent residency application is gathered

1. Gathering Documentation & Apostille Stamps

In order to be able to get a permanent residency in Paraguay you will be required to gather some vital documents that also need some proof of authenticity, so called Apostille stamps, to certify that all documents are correct and so forth will be accepted by the Paraguayan authorities. The documents are the foundation of your application, and Strategica will help you in guiding you in how to collect all the documents, what information that is required within those documents, and where the customer need to extract those documents in respective country

The required documents are as follows:

Birth certificate including parents (if married also the spouse and potential children)
Clean criminal record from authority/police
Scanned copy of Passport

Please observe that documents in bold will need an Apostille stamp

Countries handle the Apostille process slightly differently, but Strategica will guide you in how to get the certification stamp in your specific country in the most simple way (Required Documents)

Step 3 – Traveling to Asuncion, Paraguay

1. The Residency Process

The actual residency process in Paraguay are split into the following steps:

Our customer will

…get a personal dedicated representative to handle the application process from start to finish
…not need to open and deposit the required 35 minimum monthly Paraguayan wages, as a proof of solvency at the National Bank (Excluding National Bank Payment). This will be fully handled by Strategica
…undergo the normal international Interpol check-up including document sign-off
…take part in the residency process at the migration office (all documents are handled by Strategica) and you only need to sign off the relevant documents that are provided
…get photographed to initiate the process and get the ID-card (cedula) produced

We will work with the authorities to prioritize your application and support them with all additional information required. Strategica will ensure that the process follows the timelines given in the purchased package

Step 4 – Finalizing process and becoming resident

Because the Business/Invitation visa only is valid for one entry into Paraguay, you can either decide to stay the whole permanent residency process (60 days), or you decide to stay for 14 days and Strategica will complete the process for you and send you the residency ID-card (cedula) when issued, via DHL

If customer decides to stay the final steps to become a resident of Paraguay are the following (this takes approximately 3 business days):

Customer joins our representative to the migration office and receive the residency permit
Customer joins our representative to initiate the creation of the Paraguayan ID-card (which is the real proof of your residency, the Cedula). Its also this card that enables the customer to travel freely, without a Passport, through all other Mercosur countries in South America
If customer also wishes, our representative can also initiate the Tax-ID number application. This number will let the customer operate freely as an employee, business owner or Digital Nomad locally or globally. This number is the proof that the customer is a tax resident in Paraguay
